The University of Toledo Presidential Ambassadors are students with a special connection to UT, and nominations are being accepted for spring 2013 recruitment.

These ambassadors represent the University at many important functions such as presidential events, groundbreaking ceremonies, homecoming and commencement. They also interact with many donors as well as business, religious, government and educational leaders.

Students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average to be nominated. Nominations can be submitted by anyone and will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

To nominate a student or self-nominate, fill out the form found at utole.do/ambassadornom and turn it in along with a letter of recommendation to Cindy Tierney, adviser of the University Presidential Ambassadors, at cynthia.tierney@utoledo.edu.

For any questions, email Eric Croak, vice president of membership for the University Presidential Ambassadors, at eric.croak@rockets.utoledo.edu.

Nominees will receive an application form via email.
