The University of Toledo is connecting students with recruiters to learn more about employer diversity and inclusion initiatives from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, via Handshake.

The fair is one of the requirements of the Diversity Opportunities Fair Scholarship that has been created with the event. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 15.

“Career Services is excited to partner with the other career offices and DEI campus partners to host our first career fair focused on Black/African Americans, Latinx, Asian Americans, Native Americans, women, people with disabilities, veterans and members of the LGBTQIA+ community,” said Shelly Drouillard, director of Career Services.

“We believe all students bring a unique set of experiences, skills and backgrounds to the workplace, and events like this provide an opportunity to leverage their diversity as a strength.”

Students and alumni must register for this hiring event in order to participate.
