The Mill, the student-run literature magazine at The University of Toledo, is accepting submissions for its spring 2020 issue.
Poetry, short fiction, short essays, film theories, articles, graphic art and photography may be submitted for consideration by 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 20, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Mill is the The University’s only literary magazine; it features short translations, short fiction and poetry by UToledo students.
The publication was founded in 2011 by Peter Faziani when he was a first-year graduate student in English. After graduating from UToledo in 2012 with a master of arts degree, Faziani published two poetry books, “Warning Shots” (2017) and “The City as Modern Mausoleum” (2019).
According to The Mill website, the literary magazine was established to add to the creative culture and provide an avenue for young artists to communicate to wider audiences.
The UToledo English Department supports the publication through the Shapiro Endowment Fund.
