Outstanding Adviser Award nominations due March 25

Wanted: Nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Adviser Award.

The award was established at The University of Toledo in 1986 to honor faculty and staff who exemplify excellence in academic advising.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate a candidate who demonstrates effective interpersonal skills, educates and empowers students to make informed academic decisions and prioritize their commitments to maximize academic success, and is knowledgeable about UT policies and resources.

Nomination forms must be submitted online no later than 5 p.m. Monday, March 25. The online nomination form can be found here.

Two recipients will be selected; each will receive $1,500. Previous Outstanding Adviser Award winners are not eligible to receive the award; a list of past recipient can be found online.

The winners will be recognized at the UT Outstanding Awards Reception Monday, April 22, in the Student Union Ingman Room.
