The University of Toledo, in conjunction with AM 1370 WSPD, is launching a new radio program, “The Relevant University: Toledo.”
The show, which will air on Mondays from 6 to 7 p.m., will feature a variety of topics that showcase the University, the community and its many partners.
A complement to the already successful program of the same name that airs on AM 760 WJR, “The Relevant University: Toledo” will be hosted by Larry Burns, UT vice president for external affairs.
The inaugural program will air Monday, March 18. Guests tentatively include:
• Bruce Gradkowski, former Rocket quarterback who now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and is co-owner of Gradkowski’s restaurant in UT’s Gateway;
• Brian Balasia, CEO of Digerati, a Detroit engineering company, and creator of Intern in Ohio;
• Dr. Scott Scarborough, UT provost and executive vice president for academic affairs; and
• Daniel Janisz, a UT student who is organizing this year’s Big Event community service project.
Listeners will be able to call into the live program with questions by dialing 419.240.1370.
