Dr. William Davis, left, emeritus professor and chief of the Division of Dentistry in the Department of Surgery at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, recently donated his private dental practice to the University.
He was joined for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly named William and Pamela Davis Dental Service at ProMedica Toledo Hospital last week by UToledo President Gregory Postel, center, and Dr. Christopher Cooper, right, dean of the UToledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences.
The practice, now under the umbrella of University of Toledo Physicians, will allow for a seamless transition to preserve and expand UToledo’s dental residency program.
