College of Law moves up in U.S. News rankings

The University of Toledo College of Law once again has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top tier of American law schools.

US News law 2015In the latest U.S. News rankings released in March, the UT College of Law is ranked No. 140 out of 194 law schools accredited by the American Bar Association in the United States.

Other national law publications also have recognized the UT College of Law. In 2012, National Jurist magazine named the college one of the Best Schools for Public Service and one of the Best Schools for Bar Exam Preparation.

The UT College of Law is one of five Ohio law schools that achieved a top-tier ranking in U.S. News this year. Three other Ohio law schools are ranked by U.S. News in its lower tier.

“Moving up in the rankings is gratifying,” said Daniel J. Steinbock, dean of the College of Law. “But regardless of yearly rankings, the quality and value of a UT law education are consistently outstanding.”
