UT participating in national Drug Take Back Day April 25

Do your part in preventing medicinal drug abuse during Drug Take Back Day April 25.

drug take backThe University of Toledo Police Department invites students, faculty, staff and community members to drop off unused medications Saturday, April 25, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at collection bins located at the UT Police Station located at 1515 S. Towerview Blvd. on Main Campus or in the UT Medical Center Emergency Department Lobby on Health Science Campus.

Drug Take Back Day is part of a national initiative of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration working to safely dispose of potentially dangerous prescription medications on a routine basis.

Narcotics, over-the-counter medications, pet medications, prescriptions and vitamins will be collected. Syringes, inhalers, liquid medications, and ointments or lotions will not be accepted.
