Personal wellness can mean different things to different people including nutrition, exercise or weight management. But to achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle, integration of the eight dimensions of wellness is necessary.

The WellDimensions program will focus on all eight dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, financial and environmental.

“Attention should be given to each dimension because when one, or more, is neglected over time it will adversely affect ones’ health,” said Andrea Masters, employee wellness consultant.

Each week’s activities are centered on a single dimension and can be performed from any location. Participants will complete a learn, do and reflect action for each activity to identify which dimensions they may need to focus on and learn strategies to get started.

The program will run Monday, June 7, through Friday, July 30, and is available to all employees.

Registered participants who complete at least one activity per dimension during the course of the eight weeks will be entered into a prize drawing. Ten winners will be selected to win one of the prize bundles.
