University Holds Active Aggressor Training Exercise

The University of Toledo held a training exercise from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, to test the University’s response to a violent intruder.

The announced drill, which took place on UToledo’s Health Science Campus, tested the response of the UToledo Police Department and emergency room personnel from The University of Toledo Medical Center to a simulated active shooting event that resulted in multiple casualties.

Other participants included UTMC security staff and emergency medical technician students from the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.
