Senior Audra Brown has been named to the 2011 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.

Brown, a speech pathology major with a 3.594 GPA, placed 45th in the 10,000-meter race at the NCAA East Regional with a time of 36:09.51. She also finished sixth in the 10,000-meter run (36:55.24) and eighth in the 5,000-meter run (17:24.03) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

Brown ran a season-best time in the 10,000 meters with a time of 35:39.24 at the Stanford Invitational.

The 28-member team was the result of voting by the faculty athletic representatives from among a list of candidates with a minimum of sophomore status and a minimum 3.20 GPA who have participated in at least 50 percent of their team’s meets.
