Translation: The University of Toledo Journal of Medical Sciences publishes original peer review articles in all aspects of medical sciences.

Established in 2014, the journal features sections on research, case reports, review, conference reports, people, commentary, book reviews and editorials.

There are no publication charges. In most cases, a decision on acceptance will be made within two weeks after reviewers’ recommendations.

“This journal provides an opportunity for students, graduate students, residents, fellows and faculty to publish important observations in a timely manner,” said Dr. Jerzy Jankun, professor of urology, director of the Urology Research Center, and Translation editor-in-chief.

He added, “We are in the process of expanding our readership and increasing the number of papers published by our journal.”

Translation: The University of Toledo Journal of Medical Sciences is indexed in Google and Google Scholar, and Jankun soon will submit an application for indexing in the PubMed.

“The journal also solicits nomination and self-nomination to editorial and review boards from faculty, residents and students with broad interest in the medical sciences,” he said.
