UTMC Offers Advanced Treatment Options for AFib

In the final episode of Prescribed Listening’s first season, Dr. Saqib Masroor explains the potential complications of atrial fibrillation and the advanced treatment options available at The University of Toledo Medical Center.

Atrial fibrillation, which is an irregular heartbeat in the heart’s upper chambers, can cause fatigue, shortness of breath and dizziness and can lead to stroke or heart failure. Masroor, chief of cardiothoracic surgery at UTMC, oversees a range of tailored interventional treatment options to address AFib.
