As UToledo gears up for the start of fall semester, Rocket Dining is ready to serve up orders.
“Things will look different on campus as COVID-19 has impacted public dining,” Michael Dennis, associate vice president for finance and treasurer, said. “We are following state and local guidelines and taking precautionary steps to keep our UToledo community safe.”
The University is partnering with Chartwells Higher Education to provide on-campus dining experiences.
Mobile ordering with contactless pickup will be available through the BOOST app. UToledo community members will be able to place orders from several on-campus restaurants and skip the line for easy pickup.
From Saturday, Aug. 8, and running through Thursday, Aug. 13, four places will be open in the Thompson Student Union on Main Campus:
• Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Subway from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Steak ‘N Shake from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The Market at Thompson Student Union from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Thursday, Aug. 13, two other venues also will be open: The Food Hall at Ottawa East and The Eatery in the Thompson Student Union from 4 to 6 p.m.
Open Friday, Aug. 14, will be:
• Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Subway from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• The Eatery in Thompson Student Union from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
• The Food Hall at Ottawa East from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
• Chick-fil-A from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Wild Pie from noon to 5 p.m.
• Ace Sushi Boba and Bowls from noon to 5 p.m.
• The Market at Ottawa East from noon to 8 p.m.
For Saturday, Aug. 15, dining options will be:
• Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Subway from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Food Hall in Ottawa East from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
• The Eatery in Thompson Student Union from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
• Chick-fil-A from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• The Market at Ottawa East from noon to 8 p.m.
On Sunday, Aug. 16, the following venues will be open:
• Starbucks from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Subway from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Food Hall in Ottawa East from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
• The Eatery in Thompson Student Union from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
• The Market at Ottawa East from noon to 8 p.m.

In addition, Phoenicia Cuisine is open.
