Dr. Ted Wymyslo, director of the Ohio Department of Health, will give a town hall presentation Thursday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon in Collier Building Room 1000A on The University of Toledo’s Health Science Campus.
The topic of his presentation will be “Coming Together to Transform Health in Ohio.”Wymyslo is traveling the state to meet with diverse health professionals, academic leaders, public health colleagues and other health providers to discuss ways to integrate public health and clinical medicine. The UT town hall will be one of 10 presentations across Ohio.
He has served as director of the Ohio Department of Health since 2011.
A welcome address will be given by Dr. David Grossman, the health commissioner of the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, and introductions will be made by Dr. Linda French, professor and chair of the Family Medicine Department, and Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, chancellor, executive vice president for biosciences and health affairs, and dean of the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.
There will be two microphones set up for a question-and-answer portion of the presentation.
