The first issue of the redesigned UToledo News hit newsstands across campus Monday to better share your stories aligned with the new Fueling Tomorrows brand.

The weekly printed publication has a more streamlined look, bolder fonts and colors, and a new name — UToledo News. The new name uses the preferred UToledo to distinguish from other universities that go by UT. It also allows us to group together under one UToledo News umbrella all the channels we use to tell our stories — print, online and email.

“We are committed to telling the stories of the incredible things our students, faculty, staff and alumni are accomplishing, giving you a heads up about the exciting events happening on campus and sharing with you the news that impacts you as a member of the UToledo community,” said Dr. Adrienne King, associate vice president of marketing and communications. “The updates we’ve made to the print publication and the online sources of news were designed to keep you informed and engaged.”

In addition to the new look of the newspaper, the website has been updated at news.utoledo.edu and the myUT landing page will be refreshed. The daily email was rebranded from UT NewsBreak to UToledo News.
