Electrical upgrades in University Hall will require intermittantly shutting down the elevators in University Hall Wednesday, Aug. 21.
The north elevator located in the center of the building is scheduled to be shut down from 6 to 11 a.m. That means there will be no elevator service to the fifth and sixth floors during that time.
Once work on the north elevator is complete, the east elevator will be shut down until approximately 4 p.m.
Throughout the day, the west elevator will be working and provide service to the first through fourth floors.
Signage will be posted to alert traffic which elevators will be working, according to Dan Perry, project and electrical manager in Facilities and Construction.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this project may cause,” Perry said. “We appreciate your patience so this important upgrade can be completed before the start of classes.”
