The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is hosting a series of early afternoon farmers’ markets through fall semester on Main and Health Science campuses.

The farmers’ markets all run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, Sept. 13, and Monday, Oct. 4, at Centennial Mall on Main Campus; and Monday, Sept. 27, and Monday, Oct. 18, at the Mulford Library patio on Health Science Campus.

The UToledo community is invited to the four events to connect with local farmers, growers, artisans and bakers, and to score fresh produce, flowers, handcrafted jewelry, artwork and more.

“The Farmers’ Markets are a great way for students to come together on campus and learn about the different resources and talents in the Toledo community, especially if they are getting to know the Greater Toledo area,” said Yasmeen Hamdah, practicum student in the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership. “The markets are also a great way to celebrate local entrepreneurs and growers and to better connect them with The University of Toledo campus.”
