All aboard for the UT Explorers’ Sandpiper Boat Tour on the Maumee River Friday, Sept. 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
UT Explorers is a group that works to enhance the linguistic and cultural competencies of campus learners and scholars while promoting a culture of lifelong learning by providing opportunities for collaboration and engagement with UT campuses and communities.
Admission for the boat tour is $15 per person with a $5 discount for those who sign up as a pair of one international student and one domestic student. Tickets can be purchased at Ask Rocky on the second floor of the Student Union.
“The purpose of the Sandpiper trip is to give our international students an opportunity to explore the fun places in Toledo and learn about American culture while making new international and domestic friends,” Yu said.
Various foods will be served, and a diverse selection of music will be played.
There will be a shuttle bus leaving the parking area behind the Snyder Memorial Building at 6:15 p.m.
Any questions about the boat tour can be answered by calling 419.530.4483.
