The band will play at five downtown restaurants and pubs, beginning with Pizza Papalis at 9 p.m., followed by Veritas, Ye Olde Durty Bird, Cock ‘n’ Bull and The Blarney.

“We did these pop-ups last year, and they were very successful,” Cindy Kerr, executive director of Downtown Toledo Improvement District, said. “Everyone grabs their phones to record and share the unexpected excitement that the band and their enthusiasm brings. Downtown Toledo is proud of our local team.”

Tickets for the Rockets’ home opener can be purchased at the UT Athletic Ticket Office at Savage Arena, online here or by calling 419.530.GOLD (4653).
