The University Women’s Commission will hold its annual fall membership drive luncheon Wednesday, Sept. 19, at noon in the Savage Arena Joe Grogran Room.

Enjie Hall, director of campus accessibility and student disability services, will be the guest speaker. Her talk is titled “Be the Change You Seek.”

Members of the campus community are invited to join the University Women’s Commission.

Annual membership costs $30 for UT employees and $10 for students, and is tax-deductible.

“The main goal of the commission is to support women at UT and help them flourish professionally,” said Kelly Andrews, senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator in Intercollegiate Athletics, who is chair of the commission. “The more members we have, the more scholarships we can offer.”

The University Women’s Commission provides scholarships to female students and each year recognizes UT’s outstanding women.

New and returning members can join at the luncheon or online here.

RSVPs to the luncheon to brianna.stewart@rockets.utoledo.edu are requested by Friday, Sept. 14.
