“Touch the Sound” will be presented by the School of Disability Studies Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Field House Auditorium.

The film is about Evelyn Glennie, who found out while she was a student majoring in music that she was losing her hearing. She focused her attention on percussion instruments and developed the ability to feel the sound through her body.

Released in 2004, the 99-minute documentary shows how Glennie went on to perform in New York and Tokyo.
