Rockets beat nationally ranked Bearcats, 29-23

The Rockets celebrated their big win over Cincinnati Saturday night.

Toledo beat Cincinnati, 29-23, in a packed Glass Bowl Saturday night.

The Bearcats came into the contest with an eight-game winning streak and were ranked No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 21 by the Associated Press.

With the victory, the Rockets’ record against top 25 teams improves to 5-1 when playing at home.

The win pushes UT’s record to 7-1 this season.

Bernard Reedy returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, and safety Jermaine Robinson snagged an interception and raced 75 yards for a TD. Sophomore kicker Jeremiah Detmer nailed five field goals. And running back David Fluellen rushed for 161 yards.
