All University of Toledo faculty and staff are reminded to complete their assigned annual compliance training courses by deadline at the end of the month.

“As a valued member of our team, you are required to complete compliance training courses annually. This ensures UToledo fulfills its commitment to provide a supportive and inclusive workplace, which fosters professional growth and student success,” said David Cutri, executive director for internal audit and chief compliance officer.

The deadline to complete the following online training is Saturday, Oct. 31:

Building a Supportive Community — the University’s sexual misconduct training for all faculty and staff to be completed biannually.

Tools for an Ethical Workplace — to be completed annually by all faculty and staff (except those who have taken the in-person course delivered in March 2020 by the Ohio Ethics Commission).

HIPAA Update — to be completed annually by all Health Science Campus employees, individuals who work with patients, and employees who work in clinical areas on Main Campus. Employees also will complete diversity and inclusion training.

UToledo also implemented this year a COVID-19 return-to-campus training called Staying Healthy in a Changing Environment for all faculty, staff and students that was to be completed by the Aug. 31 deadline.

Access the assigned training by logging in to myUT, clicking on the Employee (or Affiliate) tab at the top of the screen, and scrolling down to the Training and Career Development section. Each employee also will receive email reminders from the training provider, EverFi.

Allow approximately one hour to complete each course. A record is made automatically when you complete course work.
