More than 150 individuals representing 28 college geography departments from Ohio, Michigan and Ontario are expected to attend.

There will be multiple presentations and posters from leaders in the field, as well as student competitions and academic presentations covering a wide range of topics. Awards will be given to the top oral presentations as judged in bachelor, master and doctoral categories, as well as poster presentations for undergraduate and graduate students.

The program also will include a special group session focused on the topic of cross-border transportation between the United States and Canada, and a walking tour of the recently completed restoration of the Ottawa River on Main Campus.
