UToledo faculty interested in learning more about the Fulbright Scholar Program are invited to a virtual workshop on Friday, Nov. 5, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The workshop, sponsored by the Office of Competitive Fellowships, will serve as an introduction to the program, including opportunities for teaching, research and flexible initiatives in more than 125 countries, as well as tips on crafting a competitive application.

Faculty will learn about the program from former UToledo Fulbright recipients, who will be available to answer questions.

Established in 1946, the U.S. Fulbright Scholar Program, which provides teaching and research opportunities worldwide, is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

To RSVP to the workshop, visit the event’s website, or for more information, contact Chessica Oetjens, coordinator for competitive fellowships and undergraduate research in the Jesup Scott Honors College, at Chessica.Oetjens@utoledo.edu.
