Hospice care. Domestic abuse shelters. Soup kitchens. Animal rescue agencies. Environmental conservatories. Disease research. Children’s health funds. Meals for seniors. Wildlife protection. HIV/AIDs education. Homeless shelters. Centers for the arts.

And the list goes on.

“The causes and charities that our faculty, staff and retirees can choose to support with their gift to UT’s annual Community Charitable Campaign (UTC3) numbers well over 200 this year,” said Dr. Michele Soliz, assistant vice president for student success and inclusion and the 2017 UTC3 chair.

To speak with representatives from some of the agencies supported by UTC3, all faculty, staff and retirees are encouraged to attend one of two federation fairs and ice cream socials:

• Main Campus — Monday, Nov. 6, 3 to 5 p.m., Thompson Student Union Auditorium.

• Health Science Campus — Tuesday, Nov. 21, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Four Seasons Bistro.

This year’s campaign runs through Friday, Dec. 22, and all gifts are tax-deductible. Regardless of the amount you donate, anyone who submits an ePledge form — accessible in weekly UTC3 emails — will receive a complimentary gift and be eligible for weekly prize drawings.
Additionally, they will be invited to attend a breakfast buffet with President Sharon L. Gaber in early January.
