Veterans Day to Affect Parking, Bus Services

The University will be closed and classes will not be in session Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. As a result, parking and the University bus schedule will be affected.

Students with an “F” permit who park in area 21 (Scott Park) and want access to their vehicle over the extended weekend should move it by Friday, Nov. 8.

Students with an “F” permit may park on Main Campus starting Friday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. Vehicles should be moved back to Scott Park Campus by Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 8 a.m.

The Scott Park bus will not run Sunday evening, Nov. 10. Service will resume at 10:25 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11.

The bus schedule for the weekend will be:

• Friday, Nov. 8 — Regular hours;

• Saturday, Nov. 9 — Regular hours;

• Sunday, Nov. 10 — Gold, Blue and Scott Park routes will run. Service between Main and Health Science campuses will not be affected. For more information on Route 3, visit the Parking and Transportation Services’ website.

• Monday, Nov. 11 — The Scott Park route will begin the normal Sunday schedule beginning at 10:25 a.m.
