To help bolster The University of Toledo’s “Go Green” initiative, employees can receive their 2021 W-2 tax form online in the Employee Tab in the myUT portal.
W-2s will be available online beginning Friday, Jan. 21; however, electronic consent must be provided by 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, for those who want to receive their W-2 online.
Employees who choose to receive their W-2 electronically can log in to the myUT portal and, using the Employee Self-Service dashboard, select Taxes and then choose Electronic Regulatory Consent.
Once an employee provides consent, their W-2 will only be available online for viewing and printing. W-2s will not be mailed to their home. Employees who provided electronic consent in a previous year do not need to do so again.
As an additional incentive, UToledo will randomly draw 10 names from the pool of people who elected the online W-2 option for a $10 dining card voucher. Winners will be notified by email.
Employees who do not provide consent on or before Jan. 14 will be mailed a paper copy of their W-2 form by Monday, Jan. 31, to their mailing address.
