The new year brings new opportunities to focus on your personal well-being. University Wellness has a variety of programs for UToledo employees and students to help them focus on their health in 2022.

The Make a Move program will focus on helping UToledo employees increase their physical activity while traveling virtually around the UToledo campuses. Participants will have access to UToledo Recreation facilities and a variety of online educational modules throughout the six-week program.

University Wellness also has partnered with UToledo Pharmacies to provide a monthly Prevention Screening Blitz for students and employees on both Health Science and Main campuses. These screenings, which include cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and bone density, are complementary and confidential.

“We advocate for health and wellness year-round but know that many people take the opportunity of a new year to focus on making positive well-being changes,” said Andrea Masters, employee wellness consultant. “We hope these programs help rocket our employees and students into a healthy 2022.”
