The Confucius Institute is offering non-credit Chinese classes spring semester for UToledo students and employees.

Modules to be taught will be Basic Chinese, Intermediate Chinese, Advanced Chinese and Business Chinese.

“Each module has 12 classes, and if you take at least eight classes of the module you enroll in, you will receive a full refund of the module tuition fees,” Xinren Yu, assistant director of the Center for International Studies and Programs, said.

Classes will be held Mondays or Tuesdays from 5:10 to 6:40 p.m. in Snyder Memorial Building Room 1020.

“The first three classes are open to everyone: Feel free to stop by,” Yu said.

Campus community members are welcome to check out the modules Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4, and Monday, Feb. 3.

“And if you can’t attend one of the first few classes, let us know and we’ll make arrangements to catch you up,” Yu added.

Go to the registration website to enroll in a module; visit the Confucius Institute website to pay for the class.
