As February approaches, The University of Toledo will honor Black History Month with a full slate of events designed to celebrate the history, culture and contributions of African Americans.

Hosted by various student organizations and campus partners, the programming invites the Rocket community to engage in meaningful conversations, cultural experiences and shared celebrations.

“Black history is a foundational and fundamental piece of all history,” said Black Student Union President Cole Fullen. “The encouragement of Black history should be to teach, grow and strengthen all minds by way of conversations and celebrations.”

Offerings range from vendor pop-ups and trivia nights to cultural culinary experiences and long-standing campus traditions.
