The University of Toledo College of Law will award 20 Law School Admission Test (LSAT) Prep Course Scholarships this spring in partnership with Kaplan Test Prep.
Scholarship applications may be submitted on the College of Law website through Friday, March 11.
The Kaplan LSAT Advantage Course will be offered at the College of Law Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. starting April 13 through May 23. The retail cost of the course is $1,399.
The College of Law scholarship will subsidize the Kaplan course for applicants who would not otherwise be able to afford the course. If selected, LSAT Prep Course Scholarship recipients will pay $300 for the course.
“We want to help all students interested in a legal career get the practice needed to succeed on the LSAT,” said Jessica Mehl, assistant dean for admissions at the College of Law.
Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s need for financial assistance and a statement relating how the applicant will add a diverse perspective to the legal profession. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Friday, March 18.
