Looking for a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day Eve? Stop by the Barnes & Noble University Bookstore at the Gateway and enter to win a pair of tickets to see pianist Jim Brickman.
The store has two pair of tickets to see Brickman play with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra Saturday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. at Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd.
Two winners will be drawn Friday, Feb. 12, according to Colleen Strayer, general manager of the Barnes & Noble University Bookstore.
Brickman has appeared twice at the Barnes & Noble University Bookstore — last spring to promote his CD and book companion set, Soothe, and in 2013 for The Magic of Christmas disc.
Since his 1994 debut, the Cleveland native has sold more than seven million records with songs that inspire, heal and comfort. He is best-known for hits while collaborating with artists: Martina McBride on “Valentine,” Collin Raye on “Peace” and “The Gift,” Rebecca Lynn Howard for “Simple Things,” Jane Krakowski on “You,” and Lady Antebellum for “Never Alone.”
Set for release in March, Pure Cinema will include Brickman’s sparkling key work on “Let It Go,” “Falling Slowly,” “Skyfall,” “New Moon” and more.
