On Monday, Feb. 24, the UT chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will host its fifth annual Student Organization Gala to celebrate that diligent work. The free event titled “A Balanced Plate” will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Student Union Auditorium.

“Student organizations are the heart of our campus,” said Chelsea Sheridan, event chair and vice president of professional development for PRSSA. “This event celebrates the hard work they do and gives them a chance to look back on what they’ve accomplished.”

This year’s keynote speaker is Jenna Lento, a 2009 UT graduate who recently launched her own business, The Petite Selectarian. She is a holistic health and wellness coach. To learn more about her, visit jennalento.com.

A meal will be provided by Balance Pan-Asian Grille, and Twine.Live will host a photo booth.

To attend the 2014 event, student organization and athletic club presidents must RSVP up to 10 organizations members by sending an email to utstudentgala3@gmail.com no later than Thursday, Feb. 20.

The event allows 350 guests, and RSVPs are first-come, first-served.
