Ruenreong (75-72-74) entered the final round in a three-way tie for the top spot and shot a two-over par 74 to tie Daytona State’s Tiffany Chan (74-73-74) at five-over par 221 on the par-72, 6,135-yard Stonebrook Golf Club. Elon’s Sunna Vidisdottir (71-76-75) finished a stroke behind at six-over par 222.

“What a wonderful start to the spring season for Sathika and really our entire team,” Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth said. “We were able to get four scores in the 70s and had three individuals post top-10 finishes. The conditions were extremely windy again [Sunday], and I thought we made some good adjustments to compensate for that.”

Senior Jennifer Elsholz (79-77-74) matched Ruenreong for the Rockets’ best round of the day with a 74 and finished in a 10th-place tie at 14-over par 230 with junior Manisa Isavas (75-78-77).

Rounding out the Rocket lineup was freshman Napaphan Phongpaiboon in a 31st-place tie at 24-over par 240 (80-83-77) and senior Stephanie St-Jean in a 33rd-place tie at 25-over par 241 ((83-80-78).

Junior Morgan Salm competed as an individual and tied for 29th place at 23-over par 239 (76-86-77).

Elon captured the tournament title at 37-over par 910 (290-308-303).

The Rockets will return to the Sunshine State for the Amelia Island Intercollegiate in Fernandina Beach, Fla., Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 23-24.
