The Ohio Ethics Commission will visit campus to conduct an Ohio ethics law review and update class Tuesday, March 10.
Employees are encouraged to attend the session, which will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in Rocket Hall Room 1520.
Participation in this session will meet the University’s annual training requirement through March 2021. Employees must sign in at the class to receive credit for attending the session.
“This class will assist public employees to better understand — and comply with — the Ohio ethics law,” Denise L. Gayer, policy coordinator in the Office of Legal Affairs, said.
Topics to be covered include financial disclosure laws, confidentiality, nepotism, supplemental compensation, and conflicts of interest restrictions.
No preregistration is required, but employees should arrive at 2:20 p.m. to sign up at the class.
