See you at the Mid-American Tournament! Rocket fans can sign up for a bus trip to watch the men’s basketball team play this weekend at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The women’s team will take on Western Michigan Wednesday, March 12, at 2:30 p.m.
The UT Alumni Association will host pre-game events before all men’s and women’s tournament games. Parties will begin two hours prior to tipoff at Harry Buffalo, 2120 E. 4th St., Cleveland, just across the street from the arena.
A member of the Toledo coaching staff and the UT band and cheerleaders will be at the pre-game event. The all-you-can-eat menu will include a house salad with dinner rolls, crab cakes, fried ravioli, chicken tenders, vegetable eggrolls, penne pasta with marinara, pizza, pork sliders, and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available.
Admission to the party is $10 per person. Advance reservations are required for the men’s game; walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.
In addition, the UT Alumni Association is offering bus trips to the men’s tournament games; the UT Women’s Basketball Fan Club is offering bus trips for those contests.
Friday’s bus trip package includes a game ticket, bus ride, tolls, bus driver tip and the pre-game event for $75 per person. If you already have a ticket to the game, you can ride the bus and go to the party for $41.
Check-in for the Friday game will begin at 5 p.m.
If the Rockets advance to the championship game, the trip will be $85 with a ticket or $51 for the bus and party. Check-in will start at 1:30 p.m.
If the men’s team doesn’t advance to the championship game, fans will receive a refund for Saturday.
