Celebrate with the College of Nursing Friday, March 14, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Collier Building lobby. Students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by for some cake.

“I want to congratulate our students, their advisers, Denise Oancea and Karen Tormoehlen, our school chapter president Jacob Hunter, and the undergraduate faculty who continue to support these students in their professional development to become registered nurses,” said Dr. Timothy Gaspar, dean of the UT College of Nursing.

“This national recognition certainly demonstrates the wonderful leadership potential that our students demonstrate at the national, state and regional levels.”

UT’s Student Nurses Association Chapter will be recognized during the 62nd National Student Nurses Association convention to be held in April in Nashville.

Started in 2009, the National Student Nurses Association Stellar School Chapter Recognition Program is open to official school chapters.
