UT students who attend this Thursday’s WNIT game between Toledo and Butler in Savage Arena will be admitted free, courtesy of the President’s Office.

WNITlogocolorjpegUT students must show their Rocket ID at the gate to gain admittance. Game time is 7 p.m.

Also, Head Women’s Basketball Coach Tricia Cullop will provide a free slice of pizza to every UT student who attends the game. UT students can get their free slice of pizza as they enter the game.

Tickets for non-students are $15 for reserved seats (all seats in the lower bowl) and $12 for general admission (all seats in the upper east sections).

Tickets are on sale for Rocket Fund donors and season ticket holders and can be purchased at the UT Athletic Ticket Office or by calling 419.530.GOLD (4653).

Reserved and general admission tickets for the general public will go on sale Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m.

However, general admission tickets may be purchased online by anyone at utrockets.com.

UT faculty and staff may purchase two WNIT tickets at half price.

Elite season-ticket holders’ seat locations will be held until 3 p.m. on game day. After that, those seats will go on sale to the general public.

Parking for all WNIT games at Savage Arena is free and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, the Joe Grogan Room will be open to Rocket Fund donors.

Toledo (27-3, 15-1 MAC), regular-season champion of the Mid-American Conference, won the WNIT title in 2011. Butler is 17-13, 8-6 in the Atlantic 10.
