The Rocket Financial Wellness Center is a new partnership between Huntington National Bank and The University of Toledo designed to help students better manage their money and prepare their finances.

The digital financial education program offers a series of interactive learning modules on key financial topics. The short lessons, each from three to six minutes in length, cover a range of topics, from paying for college to creating a budget to debt management and more. The content is mobile- and tablet-enabled, so students can access the learning program anytime, anywhere.

“At UToledo, we are focused on the success of our students through holistic support in all dimensions of wellness; this includes financial wellness,” said Dr. Julie Fischer-Kinney, assistant provost for Student Success and Retention. “The Rocket Financial Wellness Center will help equip our students with the critical knowledge and skills needed to make financial decisions that are best for them.

“Students can view pre-determined playlists based on their affiliation with the University. They can also create a customized playlist of the modules to best meet their financial goals at every stage of their educational journey.”

Students can revisit the modules and information in the Rocket Financial Wellness Center as often as they like. The content is accessible by all members of the UToledo campus community including Rocket parents and family members.
