UToledo’s fourth annual Day of Giving campaign returns this week, in a change from its traditional fall date. The 36-hour campaign will begin at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, ending at noon Thursday, April 8.

Local businesses are lending their support to the campaign as well. Customers at participating locations of Domino’s Pizza, The Blarney Irish Pub, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Little Caesars Pizza currently have the opportunity to make a campaign donation while making a purchase.
As part of the week’s festivities, complimentary root beer floats will be available to UToledo students, faculty and staff courtesy of Patron Saints Brewery, Toft’s Ice Cream and Ladder 419 on April 7 at the following locations:
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Health Science Campus, in front of Health Science Building on Transverse Drive;
• 12:50 to 1:35 p.m., Centennial Mall, between Thompson Student Union and Memorial Field House;
• 1:45 to 2:30 p.m., Rocket Hall, Lot 25 (near University Parks trail); and
• 2:45 to 3:30 p.m., College of Engineering, outside Nitschke Auditorium.
