Faculty, administrators and professionals are invited to virtually attend a Fulbright Program Workshop Friday, April 10.

Those interested in learning more about Fulbright Program opportunities are encouraged to join the workshop via Webex from 9 to 10 a.m.

Use the meeting number/access code 854 622 500; the password is Fulbright.

The workshop will provide an introduction to the Fulbright Program, information about teaching and research opportunities in more than 120 countries, and tips on how to craft a competitive application.

Former Fulbright Scholars will attend the online presentation to answer questions.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to not only learn more about the Fulbright Scholar Program, but a chance to join former Fulbright Scholars as they share their personal experiences abroad,” said Chessica Oetjens, coordinator for competitive awards and undergraduate research in the Jesup Scott Honors College.

More than 1,200 faculty and professionals travel abroad annually through the U.S. Fulbright Scholar Program, which was established in 1946. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Registration for this workshop is not required, but RSVPs are appreciated.
