James A. Leftwich, the newly appointed director of the Ohio Department of Development, will speak to northwest Ohio business entrepreneurs during a luncheon in Toledo Monday, April 25.

Leftwich’s presentation, “Leveraging Entrepreneurship in a Challenging Economy,” will take place at noon in the Hilton Toledo Ballroom, located on UT’s Health Science Campus.

His talk is presented by the UT College of Business and Innovation and PNC Bank.

“Northwest Ohio business professionals will have the unique opportunity to be among the first to hear James Leftwich provide insight into entrepreneurial activities under the administration of Governor Kasich,” said Dr. Thomas Gutteridge, dean of the UT College of Business and Innovation. “An essential part of the college’s mission is to educate and engage the business community on important issues, and we are very pleased to be offering this groundbreaking program in cooperation with PNC Bank.”

“PNC Bank is committed to providing critical resources to benefit entrepreneurs in the Toledo area business community,” said Brian Bucher, regional president for PNC Bank. “This is a valuable opportunity for business leaders to hear from the newly appointed director of the Ohio Department of Development.”
