Even with no formal internally focused campaign conducted, almost 500 University of Toledo faculty and staff donated nearly half a million dollars to the institution this year for student scholarships and college and department funds.
“The generous contributions of our UT faculty and staff have an impact far beyond the obvious good their financial support accomplishes throughout the campus,” said Vern Snyder, vice president for institutional advancement.
“Faculty and staff support sends a clear and compelling message about the importance of giving back to our alumni and friends. The leadership giving of faculty and staff helps UT far beyond the boundaries of campus.”
In total, 493 faculty and staff gave $494,000 in gifts and pledges.
