A fundraiser is being organized for the family of UT custodial worker Rhonda Riley, who lost her daughter, LaToya Riley, and her 3-year-old granddaughter, Madison Riley-Finn, both of whom died in a Toledo apartment fire June 3.

The fundraiser, which is being organized by Rhonda’s UT colleagues and friends, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 25, in the 14th Ward restaurant, 2388 Airport Highway in Toledo.

Collected funds and proceeds from the event will be used to defray funeral costs for LaToya and Madison, as well as to purchase clothing, food and other necessary items for LaToya’s other daughter, 7-year-old Miracle Riley, who was rescued from the blaze. Miracle is living with her grandmother.

The fundraiser will include a spaghetti dinner, a raffle and a 50-50 raffle. The cost for dinner will be $7 for adults and $4.50 for youth.

Donations also can be made to the Riley Family Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
