Rockets to host ‘Football 101 — Girls Night Out’ July 21 to benefit UT Human Trafficking and Social Justice Institute

Female fans of the Toledo Rockets are invited to join Head Football Coach Jason Candle and his wife, Nicole Candle, for “Football 101 — Girls Night Out” in the Glass Bowl Thursday, July 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

girls night from paulThe night of fun and football will include an opportunity for women and girls to get the inside scoop on Rockets football with an evening that will include a behind-the-scenes tour of the Glass Bowl and Larimer Athletic Complex, a team meeting with the UT coaches, a chance to meet the coaches’ wives at a wine social, and the opportunity to run out onto the field just like the players do on game day. In addition, every attendee will receive Rocket gear designed especially for the event.

Tickets for the event are $100. Registration is available online at UTRockets.com, by phone at 419.530.4653, or stop by the UT Athletic Ticket Office.

The registration deadline is Tuesday, July 12.

All proceeds will benefit the UT Human Trafficking and Social Justice Institute.

This is the third event in the 2016 Rocket Summer Liftoff Series, which will continue Friday, Aug. 19, with Movie Night and Autographs with the Rockets in the Glass Bowl; time to be announced.
