The University of Toledo Office of Finance announced two personnel changes today.

Rhonda Wingfield, associate vice president of financial planning, budget and strategic analysis, has decided to leave UT on Aug. 1, but will continue to assist as needed in the months that follow in what officials are calling a gradual transition.

Bryan Dadey, associate vice president for finance, will take over Wingfield’s responsibilities.

“Financial resources have been tightly stretched for the past several years, and Rhonda has made many contributions that have helped UT work through these challenges,” said Larry Kelley, CFO and executive vice president for finance and administration. “The University community owes her thanks for her hard work and dedication.”

Wingfield, who also served during her tenure as the interim leader of Rocket Innovations, formerly UT Innovation Enterprises, said her time at UT has been gratifying.

“I have been blessed to work alongside many wonderful people that have made my time at UT a special time in my life; I am a proud UT alumna and will continue to support the Rockets. But I am excited for the next chapter,” Wingfield said.

Kelley also announced that Dr. Kristen Keith, associate professor of economics, will join the Office of Finance.

Keith will continue to teach a reduced workload, but also will assist in shepherding key finance projects through the office and across the University.

“I’m excited by what I think will be a great learning opportunity and a chance to better understand administrative finance operations at a university,” Keith said.

According to Kelley, “Kristen’s expertise and her perspective as a professor and former Faculty Senate president will be extremely valuable as we continue to strengthen UT finances in the years ahead.”
