The Toledo women’s golf team placed five individuals on the 2021-22 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.

Junior Amelia Lee (Hilliard) was joined by sophomores Macy Hanus (Bowling Green), Angel Hii (Kuching, Malaysia), Cheryl Hong (Kuantan, Malaysia) and Kaitlyn Natividad (Yorkville, Ill.) on the squad.

“I am proud of how these ladies and our whole team value academic excellence,” said Head Coach Jenny Coluccio. “This is an example of life management and dedication to their goals. They continue our program’s long tradition of multiple All-Scholar Awards in a single season.”

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of their college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
