Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch?
Make plans to stop by the President’s Backyard Barbecue Thursday, Aug. 25.
President Lloyd Jacobs is hosting the event, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Centennial Mall.
“This is going to be a great year and what better way to celebrate the return of faculty, staff and students and to welcome new students to campus than a meal in our beautiful Centennial Mall?” Jacobs said. “The entire UT community is invited to come and enjoy the barbecue and the company.”
Hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and sodas will be served.
The event is sponsored by the Office of the President and the Division of Student Affairs.
